Edwards AFB and Rosamond are located just north of the LA/Kern County line.

 

Make sure to schedule (in advance!) a tour of the Air Force Flight Test Museum at Edwards for an up close look at the aircraft on display and a history of Edwards AFB and the Antelope Valley.

 

Rosamond is home to "The Cat House" - offering a one of a kind look at many endangered felines.
